Welcome to JD's Outfitting!

I Was born in Springerville, AZ in 1983 and I was raised in New Mexico all my life. I was raised on two of the biggest cattle ranches in Catron County which covers most of the Gila National Forest, which I am now outfitting in. Living on these ranches made it possible for me to learn the hunting units very well. At the age of two I began going with my grandfather to check his trap lines. Then I started joining my grandfather and uncle and learning the skills of hunting. It wasn't long before I was hunting by myself. I began archery hunting and have been successful in taking elk, mule deer, mountain lion, and bear. I started guiding when I was eighteen and have continued guiding for the past seven years.
